This shell is compatible with the FPGBC kit, a custom FPGA based kit that is designed to be compatible with Game Boy Color and Game Boy Original game cartridges.
These shells are a modified version of the original GBC Shell and feature a USB c port at the bottom next to the headphone port.
No cutting or trimming is needed to use this shell with the FPGA kit, it is designed specifically for this kit and is a drop in style solution.
You will need to remove the battery springs from the shell in order to fit a Lipo battery which comes with the FPGA kit (Lipo not included with shell)
This is a front and back housing ONLY, including ONLY: Front and back housing, battery terminal contact, battery cover and screw set.
A tri-wing screwdriver is needed for the screws (not included).
