This custom shell is compatible with the the Hispeedido OLED LCD screen mod, allowing you to install the screen without the need for any cutting or adjustment, simply drop the panel into the specifically designed window through the front of the GBC shell.
Whist the shells are a modified version of the original GBC Shell, they are extremely familiar in look and feel, with changes made only to the internal structure for the LCD screen area to take the IPS screen kit, and also to the battery compartment to allow either normal AA batteries or a lipo battery mod.
The shells retain all the original port placements, along with embossed text and logos crafted to be as close as possible to the original styling, offering a nostalgic and authentic look.
This shell also works woth the Funnyplaying Laminated IPS screen for Game Boy Color in additon to the OLED screen from Hispeedido.
Avoid having to use DIY cutting methods and risk mistakes, it is realistically near impossible to cut and trim a normal shell to take the screen kits from either brand, by purchasing a pre-moulded shell designed for these kits you can have a near drop in experience (Screen kit may need soldering)
This is a front and back housing ONLY, including ONLY: Front and back housing, battery terminal contact, battery cover and screw set. Each shell comes with a free set of black plastic buttons. (Blue & Yellow shell comes with muliti-colour buttons)
