Description:
The cartridge tray adapter is a no cut mod for your N64 to make it region free for all NTSC games, allowing you to install both Japanese and North American NTSC games into any NTSC Nintendo 64.
Install this replacement injection molded plastic tray in place of the original OEM tray and play, no other mods required.
The console can easily be reverted back to the OEM original tray simply by screwing the old one back in, no permanent mod is required.
Supports NTSC (US) to NTSC-J (Japan) and vice versa.
Please note it will not allow cross region from NTSC to PAL or PAL to NTSC, this only allows NTSC format N64 to accept foreign NTSC games, for example a USA console will be able to install and play NTSC Japanese games and vice versa.
European / PAL consoles are not compatible, and will not be able to play NTSC games using this adapter tray without further modifications.
You will need to open the console with security gamebit screwdrivers and also remove philips screws to swap out the cartridge tray.
